Chris

Chris McGrath

Chris McGrath is a co-founder of Horus Herbal Sciences, where he helps craft growers and solvent-free hashmakers get their work into regulated medical and adult-use markets, here and overseas. He’s been in legal cannabis since 2017, and along the way he took part in the EU-GMP certification process at two of the largest indoor and mixed-light producers in the country — the delibrate, exacting work of turning a plant into something a pharmacy will accept. But he came up through the craft itself: he spent two years washing hash under Vangyptian before the two of them built Horus together, and ice water hash in all its forms is still the part he loves most. At the Rosebud Bowl, Chris will talk about how cannabis grown and made here finds its way to people in other parts of the world.
